“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52
“I have always loved to teach.” Teaching is more than sharing information so that students might do well on tests. It is sharing God, and hopefully, through my classes and my example helping shape the next generation.
My desire for my students is to see them grow as Jesus did.
My father was a Lt. Colonel in the army so we moved a lot when I was young. Living in Taiwan was my favorite place. My parents are both from south Louisiana and we call New Orleans our home. In 1988 I married my best friend, Nora. We have one daughter, Kaitlyn and our dog Tucker (who is like a son to us). I like to hike, play softball, read, listen to music, and laugh with friends.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Business Management at Harding University. After working in Foster Care for several years, I completed a Master of Science degree in Counseling
from Texas A & M University – Commerce.
After working in Church Education Ministry for 12+ years I came to East Texas Christian Academy and love my students and my new job!!!
