And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Luke 2:52 Our primary goal at East Texas Christian Academy is to create a learning environment where students can grow and develop as Jesus did. Academic Every student studies the Bible at ETCA. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 We teach the Bible as God’s Word and stand alongside you, the parent, to help you develop your child’s faith. Excellence And now I will show you the most excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:31b These words precede one of the most famous chapters in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 13 is the chapter that tells us about LOVE. We try to teach LOVE in several ways. • We meet for chapel twice each week. Chapel is an informal time of praise and worship. • High school students are required to complete 15 hours of community service per year as a prerequisite for promotion and graduation. • Community Outreach Projects, Retreats, and Mission Trips offer additional opportunities to bless others. All men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.
