The Board of Directors of ETCA is pleased to announce that Dr. Michael E. Weimer is joining the school as President.
Dr. Weimer comes to ETCA with over 30 years of experience in Christian education; 20 of those years as the head of school. A graduate of Oklahoma Christian University majoring in Religious Education, he holds Masters degrees from Harding University School of Theology and Fuller Theological Seminary. He also earned an Educational Specialist degree and PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Weimer will work with the Board as the school's chief executive overseeing all school operations with emphasis upon institutional advancement, public relations, financial management, and communications. He will also work closely with Mr. Curtis Williams insuring continued academic and extracurricular quality.
Dr. Weimer brings to ETCA a heart for children, a love for learning, and a commitment to the mission of Christian education. At the center of his philosophy of Christian education is Jesus' observation in Luke 6:40, "A student is not above his teacher, and everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher." For him, this is the opportunity and the serious responsibility of an institution that strives to keep Christ at the center of everything it does.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new school President.
