ETCA is a private school that teaches Christian education in a loving, supportive environment for students 3 years of age through grade 12. Our mission is to provide every student with outstanding academics, character training and excellence in all we do for the glory of God. We accomplish this with dedicated faculty and staff who use the word of God as often as they use the textbook.

Chartered in fall 1979 and was a combined effort of the Tyler Churches of Christ
Preschool added in 1980
Accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in 1984
Accredited by the National Christian School Association (NCSA) in 1990
Additional grades through 8th grade added by 1993
High school began in 1994
ETCA recognized its first graduates in 1998
Purchase of the Roy Road property in November 1998
Gymnasium completed in April 2009
Opening of brand new campus for Pre-K through 12th grade in August 2010
