- Enforces rules, policies, and procedures (including supervision and discipline) as codified in the Parent and Student Handbook
- Coordinates and supervises student activities as assigned, including commencement exercises and senior honors and awards programs
- Assists the Admissions Director in gathering and interpreting information, interviewing, and other tasks relative to the consideration of new students
- Plans, coordinates, supervises, administers PSAT, Stanford, other types of standardized tests
- Creates master schedule; works with students to resolve scheduling issues
- Conferences with students and parents, arranges teacher conferences as necessary relative to grades, student performance, and student success
- Assists students and families in goal-setting, including academic scheduling, credit by exam, dual credit, early admissions and summer school programs, transcripts, college admissions, scholarships, and more
- Disseminates information as necessary to students, teachers and staff, and other ETCA stakeholders, as well as the Tyler and East Texas communities, and beyond
- Performs additional duties as assigned
