Elementary Admissions Process

Kindergarten - 5th grade

(The entire process may take approximately 1 – 2 weeks)

Qualifications for Admission

To be considered for admission to ETCA, the student needs to be:

  • Able to re-enroll in the school last attended,
  • On or above grade level academically,
  • Successful without curriculum modifications, and
  • A person of good character, free from serious behavior or discipline issues.

Step 1: Complete and Turn in Enrollment Application

Step 2: Initial Enrollment Paperwork

  • Student Profile and Student Record Request
  • (2) Teacher Recommendation Forms from principal and/or teachers
  • Copy of Social Security Card and Birth Certificate
  • Signed Student Medical Record and Current Immunization Record

Step 3: Information Overview

  • Review all information received.

Step 4: Admission Testing

  • No additional testing will be required if current Stanford Achievement Test or TAKS scores are available.
  • Stanford Short Form and the OLSAT test may be administered if no other scores are included.
  • Additional testing may be necessary, if requested by the Admissions Committee.

Step 5: Enrollment Visit and Final Paperwork (Including Financial)

  • Parents will be contacted by the Business Manager to schedule a meeting time to pay Registration fee and discuss tuition payment arrangements.

Step 6: First Day of School

The following must be complete BEFORE the student may begin school:

  • Completion of ALL information sheets:
    Public Release of Information Form
    Enrollment Record
    Emergency Information Card
    Probation Letter
    Student Handbook Acknowledgement Form
  • New students will be on academic and behavioral probation during the first six weeks grading period.
